How does the windows remote desktop connection work?
Q. How does the windows remote desktop connection work? Like if i remote on my laptop to my desktop will i be able to see whatever is on my desktop screen? I want to be able to log into a game remotely from my laptop. What program would be the best for this?

A. RDP, (Remote Desktop Portal), works on a server client model. The PC you are remoting is the server, while you are on the client. You are connecting to your "server" or remote computer using the microsoft terminal services client. You can initiate this by typing mstsc from your run command and typing in the remote machines IP or FQDN. This will connect you to that PC in a fully virtual environment. To everyone else, it will look as your screen is locked, to you it will look like you are actually using your other PC. To enable remote connections, right click my computer and then "remote" tab. How do you connect a desktop computer to a router through ethernet?
Q. I'm having trouble connecting my desktop computer to the internet. The wireless internet works fine, but when I go to plus in the computer through ethernet to the router, it won't work. I've plugged the desktop into the cable modem to see if it was the desktop having troubles, but it worked fine. Please help.

How can I get the Blackberry Desktop software to stop launching every time I start up my computer?
Q. Every time I turn my computer on, or restart it, the Blackberry Desktop software opens up on my desktop. I tried going to the search box in the Start popup, and typing in msconfig>startup. Nothing is there in the list of start up programs that says anything about Blackberry. OS = Vista. How can I stop Blackberry Desktop from auto launching every time I start my computer?
