There is no guide (that I know of) to how many miles a vehicle will get. There are too many variables involved that can cause it to be shorter or longer. Even a toyota can go out at 100k miles or less if neglected. They even had one engine that was very bad about getting sludged and requiring replacement even with correct maintenance. Maintenance is the key to a long life for any vehicle. And maintenance records with receipts showing the work was done is the only way to have proof that the maintenance was properly done on any given vehicle. (Think of receipts as the medical records for a car.) I've seen cars that required engine replacement at 25k miles due to negligent owners.
